I have received my copy and have enjoyed what I have read so far. Nice to see the credit for June Whittaker's "Raking of the Embers". The book is easy reading, with a couple of typos early.
I would recommend it as a good read, although I have not ...

- Great, gr, gr granddaughter (Henry-Susannah, George Esto, John, Annie Louise, Doris Matilda Louisa Ford then me
- Tell us a little about yourself:
- My mother was proud of her heritage, although never believed that Henry was a 'Damned Rascal'. Her family had told her a lovely 'fairy story' and was horrified when we (who had read the history books) took her to Zillah Campbell's 200th Wedding Anniversary celebrations.
Since then my husband Terry and I have been researching all our family trees and love hearing the stories from many members of the family including June Whittaker and Neil Henderson who are forever on the trail - thank goodness.
We are looking forward to the planned reunion.
We live in Wellington NSW and have 3 sons, one living in London and the other 2 in Sydney.
